The Jewish Federation of Greensboro, NC (www.shalomgreensboro.org), has become famous in Moldova through its twinning with the Jewish community of the city of Beltsy. The collaboration supported by JDC is aimed at the revival of Jewish life in Beltsy.
Jewish Healthcare International (www.jewishhealthcareinternational.org) is a project based on volunteerism and partnership between US and Israeli medical care specialists to render assistance to the Jewish Communities in the FSU, Baltic countries, and Eastern Europe

Dr. Stephen Mackler. In 1903 (year of Kishinev Pogrom) his father’s family left a small Jewish shtetl in northern Bessarabia for America; in 1999 Dr. Stephen Mackler returned to the land of his ancestors and has been making an invaluable contribution to the local community since that time.
Posner Family's grant ( Pittsburgh, PA) has become one of the most significant private donations in the development of Jewish welfare programs in Moldova.
The Swiss Fund for Needy Victims of the Holocaust/Shoa (www.nyed.uscourts.gov/pub/rulings/c v/1996/690430.pdf) is supporting welfare programs for these people who now live in very hard social and economic conditions. There are over 2,000 people in Moldova who suffered the horrors of Holocaust.

In 2002 the pilot in FSU children’s project “Let My Children Grow” started in Moldova to help over 1,300 needy boys and girls to survive and return to their Jewish roots. The project was brought to life thanks to generous support of Leonard and Tobee Kaplan Toleo Foundation

– being one of the main representatives of the North American Jewry – is the partner of Joint (AJJDC) and Sochnut (JAFI) organizations and, thus, supports welfare and cultural programs of the Jewish community in Moldova.
United Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh (www.ujf.net). Strategic planning is one of the important components of the community development. This is true for in the West. In 1998 Moldova Jewish community became the pioneer in FSU in the comprehensive strategy development. United Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh became the main overseas partner whose own successful planning served as a model. Else Pittsburgh Federation supported welfare and renewal programs in Moldova.
